Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of this website and the services we provide in the salon. By browsing this site, booking an appointment or attending your visit, you accept them. The site and the salon are operated by Regal Nails, Salon & Spa, 5400 Jean-Talon St W, Montreal, QC H4P 2T5.

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version of these terms prevails.

1. Booking an appointment

You can book online through the booking module embedded in this site, or by phone at (514) 737-8998. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability.

Your appointment is confirmed once you receive our confirmation. It is your responsibility to give us accurate contact details so we can reach you about your visit.

2. Cancellations and changes

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This courtesy lets us offer the time slot to someone else.

No cancellation fee is charged. However, in the case of repeated no-shows, we may ask for a deposit to confirm your future appointments. If so, the amount would be given to you in advance, before you commit.

3. Late arrivals

If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you. Out of respect for other clients' appointments, significant lateness may result in a shortened service or, if necessary, a rescheduled appointment.

4. Prices and taxes

Prices shown on this site are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and do not include GST or QST, which are added at payment.

Some services may vary according to the length and natural condition of your nails, and an extra charge may apply for removing a previous set or for repairs. Where such an adjustment applies, the final price is given and confirmed with you before the service begins — no additional amount will be charged without your prior agreement. Displayed prices may change at any time; the price that applies is the one agreed with you before the service.

5. Payment

Payment is due at the end of the service. We accept cash as well as credit and debit cards.

6. Health, allergies and safety

Your safety and that of our team comes first. Before your service, you must tell us about any allergy, sensitivity, irritation, pregnancy, medical condition or medication that could affect how the service is carried out or its result.

We reserve the right to refuse, stop or postpone a service where the condition of the nails or skin presents a risk (infection, open wound, fungus), where the requested service cannot be performed safely, or in the event of disrespectful behaviour towards our staff or our clients.

After your service we give you aftercare advice. Following it determines how well and how long the result lasts.

7. Satisfaction

If the result does not match what we agreed, tell us as soon as possible — ideally within a few days of your visit — so we can look at it with you and find a solution. Recent work is far easier for us to correct.

8. Liability

We perform our services with the care and skill expected of a professional salon, and we remain responsible for our own faults. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for bodily or moral injury, in accordance with article 1474 of the Civil Code of Québec, nor does anything here set aside the warranties and remedies provided by the Consumer Protection Act.

That said, and to the extent permitted by law:

• we cannot answer for the consequences of an allergy, sensitivity or medical condition you did not disclose to us before the service, nor for inaccurate information you gave us;
• we cannot answer for the result where the aftercare advice given to you was not followed, or where a third party has worked on what we did;
• results vary from person to person depending on the nature and condition of the nails; photographs shown on this site and on our social media are illustrative and are not a guarantee of an identical result;
• we are not responsible for personal belongings lost, forgotten or damaged in the salon, except where we are at fault.

9. Photographs and social media

We like to show our work. We publish a photograph taken during your visit only with your agreement, and you may withdraw it at any time by writing to us — the post will then be removed from our accounts within a reasonable time.

10. Online booking and site availability

The booking module is provided by an external partner and embedded in this site. We make every effort to keep the site available and accurate, but cannot guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors. If the booking module is temporarily unavailable, you can still book by phone.

11. Intellectual property

The text, photographs, graphics and presentation of this site belong to Regal Nails, Salon & Spa or are used with their owners' permission. Any reproduction or commercial use without our prior written authorisation is prohibited.

12. Personal information

How we handle your personal information is described in our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

13. Governing law and language

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Quebec. Any dispute falls to the courts of the judicial district of Montreal, subject to the remedies the law reserves to consumers before the court of their own domicile. The French version of these terms is the official version and prevails over any translation.

14. Changes

We may amend these terms at any time. The version shown on this page is the one in force, and the date it was last updated appears at the top. The terms that apply to your appointment are those in force when you booked.
